Darrell Mittlesteadt, with many years of fishing experience is in his 21th year as a full time fishing guide and Charter Captain. His fishing expertise is not restricted to the Northwoods of Wisconsin, it also includes chartering for trophy walleye at Little & Big Bay De Noc on Lake Michigan, plus trophy smallmouth on Chequamegon Bay, Lake Superior.

Darrell's experience as a full time licensed Wisconsin fishing guide April through September in Wisconsin's Northwoods, Chequamegon Bay, and a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Charter Captain during October, November and early December on Bay De Noc is varied and vast. Although he considers walleye, a specialty, he also produces lots of action for clients while fishing for musky, smallmouth bass, northern pike and panfish.

A day spent fishing with Darrell is an enjoyable day on the water. It will also be a learning experience. You will learn specific locations, presentations and what's effective when. He has also famous for his traditional shore lunches, prepared over an open fire on a remote island or shoreline is a treat to be sure.

As a full time fishing guide and Charter Captain, Darrell contributes to the fishing industry in many ways. He is publisher and editor of Fishing Guidelines Newspaper as well as writing articles for other publications.
