Joe & his father - Cheq Bay - nice smallmouth, really nice....

Chequamegon Bay - Ashland, Wisconsin --- Great smallmouth fishing, as good as you can find anywhere and far better than most. The bay has both quality and quanity, that means a lot of fish over  19 or 20 inches and numbers that are great on the slow days and unbelieveable on the good days. Walleyes and Northern Pike are also abundent in these waters.

There are several different methods that work well. A spinning rod with tubes or plastic, a casting rods with any one of several different kinds of crankbaits or bring your flyrod for the time of your life. You have to experience it to believe it.
